Is your community home to a lot of retiring baby boomers who are unchurched? Have you discovered that baby boomers may be a key group to target in outreach and evangelism programs? Then this is the webinar for you! The webinar will help churches who are wanting to build a boomer ministry from the ground up or help take their present boomer ministry to the next level. It begins by covering tools and assessments to help the church leader develop a boomer ministry strategy.

The webinar also covers basics such as the different types of boomers and understanding how to invite each to become a part of the newly minted ministry. Based upon what has been discovered already from surveying churches who are a part of the Office on Aging’s catalog of targeted Boomer Ministries, this webinar compares not only the formation history of these ministries but also the common characteristics of both successful ministries and unsuccessful boomer ministries. Finally, this webinar draws upon what was learned as a part of Boomerstock about how to engage with boomers.
