The Reverend Dr. Philip Jamieson, President of The United Methodist Foundation for the Memphis and Tennessee Conferences, announces that the recipients of the Tom and Betty Cloyd Scholarship are Amber Armistead and Myriam Cortes.  Amber is a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, serves as a local pastor for a three-point charge in the Tennessee Conference, and is currently enrolled at Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, Tennessee.  Myriam is a member of the Tennessee Annual Conference and serves as a local pastor for Iglesia Metodista Unida Ebenezer.  She is currently enrolled at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
