Woven is an annual women’s conference hosted by Brentwood United Methodist Church and Franklin First United Methodist Church. This year’s conference will be at Brentwood United Methodist Church with Abingdon author Heather M. Dixon as our guest speaker.
Almost two years ago, Heather Dixon received a diagnosis of Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. There is no cure or treatment for vEDS, but amid that diagnosis, God reminded her that she was not the first to walk this earth with the awareness that death was on its way.
Jesus had three years to fulfill His earthly mission. He accomplished His purpose and lived with a determined mindset, one that was eternally-focused. That’s the choice Heather wanted to embrace – not living with a terminal perspective, but living with a determined attitude.
This is how God gives purpose to our pain. We choose determined living, and He fills us with joy. Join us on May 4 as we look for ways that we can embrace a pattern of determined living every day. Be determined about making this pattern a habit, and you’ll be well on your way to living like Jesus.
Cost is $25 for the conference including brunch. Sign up at bumc.net/Woven
