Our communities and churches are filled with a diverse group of people from different generations and cultures. Each generation has unique characteristics that help ministry leaders better understand how best to be in ministry with them. Today’s children’s and youth ministry participants are from Generation Z. Their parents span multiple generational cohorts which also adds to the complexity of building sustainable and effective ministries with the whole family. Rev. Melissa Cooper has spent considerable time researching generational trends and differences in order to more effectively equip herself, her church, and others for ministry. Join Melissa as she shares insight into Generation Z.
