Dunaway’s Chapel United Methodist Church’s 48th annual “Ice Cream Supper” is a time-honored tradition. For 48 years, the laity of Dunaway’s Chapel have been churning gallons of homemade ice cream each year.
Homemade flavors include: Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Peach, and our specialty, ‘Chocolate Frosty’!
But the “Ice Cream Supper” is not just about tasty ice cream (it’s really tasty, though).
There will be grilled hamburgers and homemade lemonade. Come walk in the ‘Cake Walk’ to win a cake or play ‘Bible Bingo’ to win a pie. You’ll also find desserts including, cakes, cookies, pies and other homemade treats.
Our ‘Heritage Recipes” cookbook is available for purchase this year.
Beat the heat by grabbing a burger and a scoop or two of homemade ice cream and enjoy good fellowship with family and friends in the community at the 48th Annual Ice Cream Supper at Dunaway’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Everyone in the community is invited to “taste and see” that the Lord’s people know how to make some creamy, delicious ice cream. Proceeds will benefit the many mission projects around the world this church participates.
