Role Responsibilities and Skills You Showcase:

You will be passionate about Project Transformation’s mission to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships. You will execute mission, oversee operations, and promote growth and development of Project Transformation in the Memphis area.

You will partner with the Advisory Council and Executive Director in leading strategic direction for both ongoing operations as well as new growth.

You will shape and drive the fundraising strategy that supports existing and growing operations. You will look for new ways to diversify funding sources for the organization. You will build new donor relationships, and nurture relationships with ongoing donors.

You will provide vision and direction to the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based programs grounded in equity, social-emotional learning, literacy, developmental relationships, spiritual formation, and leadership development. You will collaborate with families, churches, and community groups to impact community change.

You will be expected to coach and supervise the young adult staff throughout their service term. Your approachability will create a nurturing and supportive environment for young adults to grow personally and professionally, with an emphasis on vocation.

Your programs must be designed to capture data that can be used to demonstrate Project Transformation’s activity and impact to its participants. The data will be used to improve program quality and to support grant funding and reporting efforts.

Your attention to detail and your ability to think strategically are necessary as you assist in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, budgets, policies and procedures. The responsibilities in this realm include: maintaining accurate records of staff, supplies, inventory, purchase card expenditures, and general budget management.

Your outstanding communication skills, along with interpersonal and presentation skills, are utilized as you prepare and deliver presentations; attend community meetings, conferences, and seminars. You may be required to work weekends, evenings, and travel out of town for extended days.

Your adaptability and can-do attitude are important in handling a variety of other matters as they arise.

About the Team:
We are a small and mighty team that works together collaboratively in support of Project Transformation’s mission to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships. We expect our team members to be problem solvers and self-starters who are organized, methodical, and detail-oriented. We work independently but depend on each other to be successful. You will report to the Executive Director.

Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in nonprofit, church leadership, education, or other relevant environments.
– 5+ years of program management and supervisory experience.
– 2+ years of leading fundraising operations in a relevant setting
– 2+ years of budget management within a nonprofit or similar setting.
– Strong project management skills balancing long-term planning with day-to-day operations.
– Strong communication skills, including interpersonal skills.
– Commitment to seeing all young people thrive in PT’s programs.

Preferred Qualification:
– Master’s Degree in education, theology, social work, business or related field
– Knowledge of developmental levels for young people and asset-based community development.
– Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay Range: $55,000-60,000
