Celebrate the Promise Moves Online

Although the offices of Miriam’s Promise are closed, the counselors are still working very hard to offer services without interruption to clients. Expectant parents are receiving counseling, parents are receiving coaching, and home studies are being written.

While it is unclear what world will look like when this time of social distancing ends,  the fact that there will still be young women who find themselves in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy will not change. There will still be children who come from hard places. There will still be people who want to grow their families through adoption. The mission of Miriam’s Promise to ensure the well-being of the child by nurturing individuals and families will still be relevant and they want to be here to meet the needs of all the folks who reach out.

For the comfort and safety of their guests, Miriam’s Promise has made the very difficult decision to pivot to an online, virtual experience for Celebrate the Promise this year. They hope you will join them on Monday, May 4th at 7:30 pm for live streaming Celebrate the Promise through YouTube Live! The online event will include sharing stories of the impact you are making, hosting an online auction, and having some fun surprises throughout the evening. If you have already paid for your ticket or table and would like a refund, Miriam’s Promise will be honoring those until May 15, 2020. However, they would also certainly be grateful if you allowed them to keep your ticket/table purchase as a fully tax deductible gift to Miriam’s Promise.
The funds raised through Celebrate the Promise account for almost 20% of our operating budget. Please consider making a gift to Miriam’s Promise to help bridge the gap. Your support helps ensure that Miriam’s Promise will be here after this crisis is over and people will need help more than ever.

They look forward to a time when everyone can be in the same room together again and they can thank you personally for your support and the love you have for the ministry.
