As members gathered for Day 1 of the Tennessee Annual Conference, they were greeted with a new streamlined check-in and registration process that allowed for much time for greeting and fellowship. The laity and clergy then went into afternoon sessions before dinner. Evening worship was live streamed to host churches, adding 800 pre-registered people to the audience. The worship team from Gallatin First United Methodist Church delighted the crowd with praise music before and after Bishop McAlilly’s address, “Sent to Serve.”
