Harry Denman Evangelism Award Nominations Open

When you think of your faith journey, who made an impact on you? Most likely there are others who would say those persons impacted their own faith journey. The Harry Denman Evangelism Awards are designed to recognize these faithful servants of God who continually nurture and empower disciples to be so changed by their relationship with Jesus Christ that they cannot stop themselves from serving as Christ served, or sharing “Why Jesus” in all aspects of their lives. They are a catalyst for others to hear the Good News, which is the vision of The Foundation for Evangelism, and why we continue this 40-year tradition!

Last year, we introduced some amazing people like Dr. Robert and Mrs. Delia Pierson who led a team from Oklahoma to bring the Good News and help plant churches in Moscow, Voronezh and other areas of Russia (sadly, Robert passed away in December 2017); folks like Sean Mevis who lives life glorifying God and inspiring his teenage peers and adult youth leaders alike; and George Handy who stepped in to help his church see the value of reaching out to families in their local neighborhood to be a welcome place for them to come to know Jesus.

Join us this year in recognizing persons from the Tennessee Annual Conference (clergy, laity, and youth) who have made an impact by sharing their faith and coming alongside others to encourage a relationship with Jesus. D
