Tennessee Delegation Prepares for 2019 Special Session of General Conference

Tennessee Conference delegation meets to discuss 2019 Special Session of General Conference. Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

The Tennessee Conference delegation met on Wednesday, October 17, to discuss and reflect on the initial pre General Conference Way Forward listening sessions.  The delegation continued discussion on the three proposed plans and are preparing for February 2019’s Special General Conference Session in St. Louis. The three remaining conference wide listening sessions will be held at Martin Methodist College, Clark Memorial UMC, and Madison Street UMC.

All listening sessions with members of our General Conference Delegation are open to everyone and will be on Sundays, 3-5 p.m. More information and dates for these sessions found here.

Please note: this is NOT a presentation of the plans, but rather an opportunity for YOU to express your opinions and concerns as well as to pray with delegation members in advance of General Conference.
