Over 60 Attend Workshop on Hospital Evangelism

The Turner Center for Church Leadership at Martin Methodist with the Tennessee Conference Hispanic Committee, under the leadership of Revs. Janet and Eluid Martinez, sponsored a workshop on Hospital Evangelism, Saturday, Dec. 2 at Blackman UMC in Murfreesboro, for the “Hispanic Fellowships” of the Tennessee and Memphis Conferences.

The speaker was Rev. Dr. Irving Cotto, a UM pastor who teaches in the Hispanic Course of Study at Garrett Evangelical Seminary and is a District Superintendent in the Eastern PA Conference.

Over 40 adults and 20 youth and children attended the day-long workshop. Blackman and its youth program provided both the food and childcare.
