The Practice of Pastoral Leadership Conference

Dr Tom Long

Come for a day of inspiration and learning on the practice of Church leadership featuring Dr. Tom Long. Dr. Long will go in depth on what it means to lead from the pulpit in the 21st century and how pastors can effectively engage congregations to make disciples in a disenchanted age.

On Saturday, February 3rd, Dr. Long will lead a full day just for Licensed Local Pastors and Lay Servant Ministers of the Tennessee and Memphis Annual Conferences. This seminar will engage best practices of preaching and will be full of insight both for those newly entering the pulpit or those with years of experience.

On Monday, February 5th, provisional and full connection clergy of the Tennessee and Memphis Annual Conferences are invited to hear Dr. Long teach and present on his latest research: “Puzzles and Paradoxes: Preaching the Parables of Jesus.”

This event is sure to challenge you as a pastor and leader. Cost is $15 and includes lunch (scholarships are available).
