New Madrid Earthquake Fault . . . Our New Orleans

Just ONE reason your church needs to be READY FOR DISASTER!

Tornadoes, Flooding, Earthquakes, and Ice Storms WILL affect your church and community, be it tomorrow, 10 days, 10 years, or 100 years from now. Is your congregation PREPARED???

Most are not. While in our minds we know these things can and will happen, in our HEARTS we DO NOT BELIEVE IT WILL HAPPEN TO US.  One day of training can’t fix that, but it can begin the process of seeing how the local church can be a witness of the Living Christ when disaster strikes at home.

Starting this year, we will be rotating several different disaster related trainings from district to district, offering each at least twice a year.  Included are UMCOR classes:  District/Local Church Readiness, Early Response Team, and Spiritual/Emotional Care.  Please see below currently scheduled trainings.
