This is where you can join and/or edit which electronic newsletters you want to receive and change/update your email address.

For Email Marketing you can trust

We have a variety of mailing lists for electronic newsletters that you can add or delete from yourself:

  • Mailings are sent to your email by TNUMC leaders periodically.
  • We DO NOT share or sell any information with an outside groups. You can be assured that when you receive mailing it is from the Tennessee Conference of The United Methodist Church. At any time you can op-out or change the selection of the different emails offered.
  • Tom Nankervis edits our General Listserv which references BLOGS. Tom also sends Prayer Requests and Emergency Notices to the General Listserv List.  (If you do not get General Listserv, Prayer Requests and Emergency Notices, you can sign up here or add yourself to that list here.  You will find it on the top of the List) 
  • Jason Brock edits Disaster Response information.
  • Brad Fiscus has a Youth Leaders Group.
  • Patty Smith is beginning a Children Ministries List
  • Bill Freeman has a technology for the church List
  • UMMEN has a Men's Ministry List
  • Other Committees and Groups in the Conference also communicate information via our Electronic Newsletters to save money and improve communications. 
  • NOTE: You will also see mailing lists on several WEB pages.  This is for the specific lists contained in this area.  It just eliminates you having to click on the above link.  Fee free to sign up on specific pages as you wish.  You will NOT receive duplicates.
TROUBLESHOOTING EMAILS & NOT RECEIVING NEWSLETTERS
 Sometimes people do not receive e-newsletters they have signed up for because of a number of issues:
  • Their email box is full.
  • Their address book does not contain names of persons from The Conference (tnumc.org)
  • Their ISP - Internet Service Provider (like Bellsouth, ATT, or Comcast) limits the volume of email.
  • Their ISP perceives tnumc.org to be a spammer.
