Our calling as God’s people is to "make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

As United Methodists we believe that The Local Church is the primary place where disciples are made.

The Office of Connectional Ministries has as its purpose the equipping the local church for this ministry.

To fulfill this purpose, Connectional Ministries will proactively seek to strengthen, equip, encourage, and assist local churches in the disciple-making process.

Through training, coaching, and encouragement the staff will seek to enhance the ministry of the local church and the Conference Council on Connectional Ministries.
Our strategy to fulfill this quest can be summarized in four words:
—Engage, Receive, Equip, and Send.
Let me briefly explain what is meant by these words.

Engage—Contacts and interacts with all people meeting them where they are to share Jesus Christ through hospitality, service, and justice ministries.

Receive—Invites people into relationship with Jesus Christ and assimilates them into faith communities.

Equip—Grows individuals in faith development and spiritual formation toward Discipleship

Send—Connects Disciples with their calling and sends them into action to make a difference and transform the world.
This cycle repeats itself and the transformation continues.
We believe that God calls us to make a difference in the lives of all persons. Empowered by the Holy Spirit we can make a significant difference in the world. We invite and encourage you to join us in this quest.
